I began illustrating full-time for children in December 1995 and have illustrated over 40 books, plus another 30 as a ghost illustrator. My degree is in illustration from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. I work in traditional and digital watercolor.
I was a graphic artist and creative director for fifteen years, which comes in handy when designing and laying out books. I’m proficient in InDesign and Photoshop. I’m a long-time member of SCBWI and a former Co-Regional Advisor for the Rocky Mountain Chapter.
My husband and I live in the Colorado mountains. When not illustrating, I like to make jewelry, read, garden, cook and travel. Busy Nuthatch Design is my business for selling my jewelry, prints and photographs. French is my second language et vous pourriez m’écrire ou me téléphoner et on peut parler en français.
